STUBENFELSEN
BAD TEINACH, BLACK FOREST
Layers of Time, Held in Silence
The Stubenfelsen rises quietly among the trees, shaped by centuries of wind, water and stillness. Hidden within the forests near Bad Teinach, the rock formation feels less like a landmark and more like a fragment of time preserved in the landscape.
What drew me to this scene was the contrast between permanence and fragility. The rough, layered stone stands against the soft textures of the surrounding forest, while the tall trees seem to disappear into light and shadow above it.
In black and white, the image becomes less about documenting a place and more about revealing structure, atmosphere and presence. Texture replaces color. Light defines form. The landscape turns into a study of silence and time.
